I think it depends on where you get sent. Sometimes they're nice enough to separate the women out. Sometimes not.

She was on her own side, though all of her own charges were against the Empire itself, never going far enough to hurt or steal from a civilian.

Maybe she would admire him for it if she also doesn't know what the Rebellion is capable of herself. In this world things are never black and white, but she's seen enough dark grey to not ever associate with the Rebellion.]
